Score your setup in ten minutes, pick two changes, and review after five working days. Honest answers beat perfect furniture.
Work through categories in order: chair, desk/keyboard, screen, environment, movement. Mark each item Yes / Partly / No. “Partly” counts as a priority fix. Photograph your setup from the side—photos reveal forward head posture you do not feel in the moment.
Rate afternoon energy 1–5 before changes, then again after one week. If scores do not shift and discomfort grows, seek qualified assessment through appropriate channels—not anonymous web content.

Lists fail when everything is urgent. Choose one hardware or furniture fix (chair pad, monitor arm, footrest) and one habit fix (timer, laptop stand, lamp position). Implement Monday; do not add a third until Friday review.
Share results with your manager if you need employer support—Dutch workspace rules may entitle you to conversation about suitable equipment. Our contact form handles educational event questions, not employer disputes.
Adjust what you have first. Many chairs are unused in the wrong settings. If foam is collapsed or mechanisms broken, replacement may be reasonable—document with photos for budget requests.
